Teaching
A world-class faculty is the beating heart of a world-class university. As gifted educators, the men and women who teach at NUS ready fresh generations to serve the world inside and outside the walls of academia. Naturally, money is required to give the best educations, and your gift can help.
You can support teaching in a variety of ways: first and foremost, NUS can always use undesignated gifts to further our teaching mission where need is the strongest. Any amount can be designated to help fund visiting lecturers or hire top-calibre instructors. Professorships that carry naming opportunities may also be founded, with a gift of at least $2 million.

Professorship in Paediatric Oncology
Moved by the plight of children suffering from cancer, NUS Distinguished Alumni Service Award recipient Dr William Tan initiated an effort in 2005 to raise $1.5 million to establish a Professorship in Paediatric Oncology at NUS.
His strong determination to champion this cause earned him a number of world records, including being the first wheelchair marathoner to complete 10 gruelling marathons on 7 continents in 65 days.
Show him your support by making a gift today.
